666 (The Apocalypse Of John, 13/18): Exclusive Red Vinyl 2LP

Aphrodite’s Child 666 was first issued in 1972, after the group had split up, but its originality and sheer unalloyed quality meant that a ‘cult’ has slowly built around it over the ensuing decades. It is now regarded as one of the finest rock albums of a particularly fine era and required listening for rock/metal enthusiasts and exotic music freaks alike. The brainchild of probably the most famous Greek (male) musician to ever draw breath and “one of the most important figures in the history of electronic music”, the album fed internal tensions with the other members of AC, including singer and bass player Demis Roussos (soon to become a solo superstar himself).

This has been pressed on black and limited-edition red vinyl.
